We live by these shared values: We are Good Stewards, we believe in Uncompromising Quality, we work as One Team, We Play to Win, and We Genuinely Care for each other.What you will do: In this role you will perform microbial and chemical analysis of cheese, milk, whey, butter and ice cream; other testing to include milk components, sensory evaluation, antibiotics, added water, sediments and drinking water including data entry of information into specialized database i.e. LIMS and regular correspondence via email. You will help ensure that product release is achieved on time and work toward improving processes that drive overall Operational excellence especially with regards to quality systems. You will report directly to the QC lab manager.Here’s a day in the life: Sensory DutiesCheese micro analysisCheese chemical analysisIce Cream micro analysisIce Cream chemical analysisWhey product micro analysisWhey product chemical analysisMilk sample sortingQualifications: Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and members.Ability to communicate effectively.Must be computer literate with beginner knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Intermediate MS Office skills are preferred. Database experience i.e. ERP systems (NAV) is a plus.Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.Must be able to prioritize work.
