We are seeking a strong leader who leverages their team to ensure the success of the facility and organization. This person should thrive on the challenge of implementing processes that drive productivity, increase effectiveness, improve safety and quality while fostering a strong culture for our employees.What you will do: Reporting into the Regional General Manager, this position will be responsible for the leadership of the plant team which includes approximately 20 direct and indirect reports. This position will also be responsible for managing a flexible workforce to align with the volume of work.This position will lead and oversee daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing and ensure company, state and federal policies, procedures and regulations are followed.Initiate plans and processes, which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of work force, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.Partner with sales, project management and engineering teams to craft proposals, deliver successful and profitable results and strive to never disappoint our customers.Ensure a clear understanding of business objectives and production schedules to deliver product that will exceed our customers’ expectations.Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility sets the standard in excellence for service and quality.Continually improve safety record by providing training and addressing all safety opportunities.Oversight of lease for premises, ability to source materials, and set costing for new projects.Engage with plant team to communicate clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, training and development and ensure resolution of gaps in performance, quality and service.Create a strong employee focused culture through engagement with the team, ensuring open communication within the team and timely addressing and resolution of issues or concerns within the team.Ensure that you build and retain talent within the organization through effective recruiting processes, training and ongoing development.All other duties as assigned by management.What you need to succeed: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field or equivalent experience3-5 years of leadership / management experience2-5 years management of manufacturing plants preferable in packaging/technology/supply chainPrior experience being responsible for managing all aspects of a plant including budget, cost analysis, facilitiesStrong communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft programs, familiar with ERPSpanish speaking preferredBenefits we offer: Competitive base payHealth insurance (medical, dental, vision)Paid sick and vacation time offCompany paid life insuranceAdditional life/accidental death and dismemberment insuranceShort and long-term disability401k with company matchEPE USA is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
