We operate in multiple spaces including Automotive, Medical, Military and Industrial.
Actia Electronics is looking for a Procurement Analyst to join the team in our Romulus, Michigan office. The Procurement Analyst will be a member of a dynamic team in the Purchasing Department. This critical role is responsible for sourcing and negotiating components, maintaining proper inventory levels as well as retaining high quality suppliers.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to maintain strong supplier relationships while successfully interfacing with various internal departments and business units at all company levels.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure all orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts.
Prioritize purchase orders and requisitions as needed.
Update/confirm system lead times, delivery dates, and pricing.
Study purchase history and forecast, inventory levels and replenishment cycles.
Responsible for communication between Engineering and Suppliers for sourcing parts during the design and development process of new products.
Interface with Project Managers to plan and prioritize purchasing activities.
Review new part number releases, (for accuracy and completeness) work with Sales and Engineering to determine estimated annual usage (EAU), send request for quotes (RFQ) to suppliers, review quotes and determine the best suited Supplier based on pricing,
Generate Quarterly Vendor report cards and summary report.
