Position : Store Development
Job Description : Salary is D.O.E, which includes a Quarterly Bonus Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The Store Development Department is responsible for setting product, ensuring placement; servicing, troubleshooting/repairing and cleaning products; collecting and reporting detailed inventory data; and moving product from the stock room to the sales floor. You will also work closely with retail associates and managers informing them of new product launches, promotions, and procedures. Your ability to work independently, build relationships and maintain strong partnerships with store personnel is vital in achieving the goals of this program.
Duties include but are not limited to:
– Comfortable working with minimal supervision – Must be able to complete visits with verbal and/or written instructions – Must be available for regular communication; primarily via email and telephone with supervisor – Independent, self-motivated and organized – Capable of setting product, performing store resets, maintaining and installing equipment, inventory counts, and moving product from stock room to sales floor – Ability to build relationships with store personnel in order to achieve the goals of this program – Ability to work assigned daytime store visit schedule
– Experience influencing shelf and display allocation decisions by store management – Experience communicating with store management and associates and building positive relationships – Conducts store visits according to the designated frequency – Ability to multi-task – Displays a professional demeanor while representing the client and our company
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in grocery or c-store field
Extensive knowledge of products
Computer experience in data entry, Windows (Excel, Word), internet
Attention to detail
Organized
High school education or GED
Proof of Insurability
Class B license preferred
Clean driver record
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to operate a computer; stand and /or walk for up to 12 hours in retail environment; sit; reach with hands and arms; read, talk and hear; count and perform basic mathematical functions; sort, organize, and assemble things according to instructions; regular lifting up to 50 lbs. to move stock or displays from the stock room to selling floor.
