Pay Rate: $22.35 Per Hour

The employee will become part of the Purdy paintbrush manufacturing team. Purdy manufactures professional painting tools of the highest quality. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials are properly stocked for all operations.
Responsibilities include:
Trained on forklift operationThe use of the RF machine to move raw materialsRetrieve and deliver handles, keepers, nails, epoxy, ferrules, plastic plugs, inserts, plugs, hook and loop, boxes, keepers, velcro, and palletsFill anti stat and lay out raw materials for TippersMaintain production and material issues to ensure a continued product flowAssist in repairing, clean up and assist with other positions when necessaryFill in for other material handlers when outWork together with other Material Handlers on a daily basisUnload materials from Receiving and deposit in proper locationMaintain fluid levels on forklift and communicate with Maintenance on a regular basisCut plugsSafely handle chemicals using proper PPEGather and dispose of wasteUse compactorConduct weekly cycle count of materialsPerform essential housekeeping proceduresStack and shrink wrap finished goods and prepare for shippingOther duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
Continuous use of hands and arms.Able to lift 65 pounds on a regular basis.Able to roll a 750 pound drum occasionally.Able to push 200 pounds on a rolling cart occasionally.Frequent bending and twisting at the waist.Standing is required during all of shift, except for breaks.Ability to safely operate a pallet jack and forklift.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
Must be willing to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation
Able to with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform all of the physical requirements listed on this posting

2nd shift, 2pm-10:15pm, pay rate $23.02/hr plus .45/hr shift differential
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
1-2 years of material handling and forklift experience preferred.
