Job Description : CFGI is a unique and highly specialized financial consulting firm that is strategically positioned to assist the office of the CFO through a range of routine and complex business scenarios. As an extension of your corporate finance team, CFGI works alongside your internal staff, serving in a variety of roles from technical accounting advisor, M&A support, tax services, etc. delivering seamless support services.

Position Description:
As a key contributor to the internal accounting and finance group, you will be responsible for

supporting various aspects of the billing process and AP function for the company. This can be a fully remote position!

Major Areas of Responsibility:

1) Accounts Receivable support:

o Set up new clients in the ERP and support onboarding (e.g., bill rates and terms, banking verification calls, etc.).

o Send monthly invoices to clients for payment; this includes submitting invoices to online payment portals.

o Prepare weekly AR Aging reports and monitor past due balances, while working with engagement teams on collections.

o Support client service personnel by responding to billing requests and inquiries.

2) Accounts Payable support:

o Set up new vendors in the ERP and support onboarding (e.g., vendor W-9s, confirmation of contract terms).

o Monitor AP intake and support weekly payment processing (entering bills from vendors, obtaining necessary internal approvals).

3) Other areas of responsibility may include

o Support the VP of Finance and Accounting Managers in conducting the functions of the accounting group.

o Assist with month-end close, including amortization of prepaid expenses, reconciliation of cash, AR/AP, and other assets & liabilities.

o Other ad-hoc requests that come up from time to time.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

o Knowledge of basic office systems & Microsoft suite; experience with Salesforce/Financial Force preferred.

o This position is required to work (remotely) from 8:30 am -5:30 pm, with the potential for longer hours during peak times.

Vacations and other time off should not be scheduled around busier times and should be coordinated and approved in advance with as much notice as possible.
