Job Description : SUMMARYAdministrative support person for Human Resources Department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Follow appropriate Human Resources policies & procedures, including adhering to State & Federal employment laws.Timely processing of weekly & bi-weekly payrolls in the Mangrove system.Assist the department with records retention and filing, including documents related to Affirmative Action.Complete annual wage & benefit surveys.Assist Technical Trainers with scheduling and development of training.Provide a high level of personalized service to employees at all levels (hourly/salaried, office/production floor, etc), including assisting with benefits and payroll questions.Maintain professionalism and empathy with employees from many diverse cultures.Act as Human Resource contact person when HR Staff is out of the office.Assist in the planning and management of the Wellness program.Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activitiesParticipate in work group/team activities.Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment.Must be a positive and dependable member of the Milwaukee Electronics team.Must be adaptive and supportive of change.Must provide input to problem solving process and possess good communication skills.The work performed in this job can only be done on site; therefore attendance is an essential function of the job.Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities, but requires an individual who can be a leader to others..QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. College degree preferred, but not required. A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the Human Resources field or related is required.LANGUAGE SKILLSThe ability to read, speak, and understand English to enable clear communication and comprehension of internal company documentation.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSBasic math skills will be required to add, subtract, multiply and divide.OTHER REQUIREMENTSAssist with company functions, such as Christmas parties, summer picnics, etc. as needed.May also serve as a backup to the Administrative Professional as needed.PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this position, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to point, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
