Job Description:
The Oregon State Hospital, a division of the Oregon Health Authority , has a fantastic opportunity for an EXECUTIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST 2 to join an excellent team working to help people recover from their illness and return to their lives in the community.
What you will do!
You’ll provide executive administrative support to the Harbors Program Director. You’ll be responsible for a broad range of administrative and coordinator duties. The position requires initiative, clear and careful judgment, independent decision making, and excellent customer service skills. Duties include fielding inquiries from internal/external business partners into the Program Director’s Office and answering, screening and routing appropriately; calendaring support for the Program Director; assisting in the recruitment and onboarding processes and training needs of new hires to the Harbors Program; preparing reports and/or special projects, which may include data collection, coordination, final copy preparation, and distribution. Additionally, you’ll act as central administrative hub for the Program Director’s Office and ensure an effective, consistent, integrated and comprehensive system of communications. .

What we are looking for:
One year of experience performing administrative duties in support of agency projects or programs. Qualifying experience would involve data collection and analysis; project evaluation and/or analysis; interpretation and application of laws, rules, and regulations; or similar experience
Professional and or lived experience demonstrating commitment to OHA’s goal of becoming an actively antiracist organization and in creating an inclusive and diverse work environment
Demonstrated ability to work with a great deal of independence, setting individual priorities, goals, and objectives and initiating work in response to and in strategic anticipation of complex workplace interactions
Experience exercising and maintaining confidentiality and diplomacy in the workplace
