Oakland Schools is an autonomous, tax-supported public school district governed by Michigan General School Laws and is one of56 intermediate school districts (ISDs) established in Michigan in 1962.Our organizational focus is centered on these central objectives:Increase student achievementServe diverse needs of schoolsDecrease costs/increase efficienciesSALARY DETAILS: $18.14 – $21.23/hr. with a potential to earn up to $22.08/hr. based on annual step increases/ Non-exempt position / 10-month work yearWORK LOCATION: Oakland Schools Technical Campus – SE5055 Delemere StreetRoyal Oak MI 48073IN THIS ROLE: You will provide academic and workplace skill instruction and instructional activities to Career Focused Education students under the direction of program instructors in Health Sciences.WHAT WE NEED: We are seeking an energetic team member to work collaboratively with the instructor to provide technical, academic and workplace skill instruction to Oakland Schools Technical Campus students in the area of Health Sciences. You will assist and support the duties and responsibilities of instructor and participate as an active program team member in all areas including Regional Program Meetings, Program Advisory Committees, Building School Improvement Team and CFE related professional development.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.WHAT YOU NEED: Associates’ Degree preferred.Patient Care Technician license/certification or equivalent preferred.Two or more years of recent and relevant work experiences preferred.Ability to properly utilize tools and equipment necessary in providing instruction to students.Ability to properly utilize tools and equipment necessary in providing instruction to students.
