Job Description : RapidBio, a fast-growing molecular diagnostic company located in Plymouth, Michigan is looking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to conduct research, product development, and clinical validation of novel molecular diagnostic tests.Job duties will include:Conducting research, development, and clinical validation studies for a broad range of molecular diagnostic testsCreating and writing protocols, SOPs, laboratory developed test validations and FDA regulatory documentsReporting results and training clinical technologists with newly developed testsOrdering, tracking, and managing materials for R&DThe successful candidate will have:Bachelor’s or higher degree in Biological Science or a related field2+ years of experience as a Research AssociateExperience with nucleic acid isolation, purification and quantificationExperience with real-time PCR and related techniques for molecular diagnosticsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProblem-solving, multitasking, and prioritization skillsAbility to collaborate with various teams and individuals in a multidisciplinary environmentLocation: 46701 Commerce Center Drive, Plymouth, MI 48170Job Type: Full-time
