Job Description : The Institute for Higher Learning, an educational consulting firm in Ann Arbor, is seeking a part-time Researcher/Copy Editor to support the Applications Consulting Team. Office environment is dynamic and fast paced, so efficient multi-tasking is a necessary skill. Position is 18-20 hours per week including two days a week in-person in the Ann Arbor office. Starting rate: $25 an hour.DUTIES INCLUDE: Conduct document review, Internet searches & other researchAssist Managing Partner with tasks as assigned including:Copy-editing essays and other documentsCompiling comprehensive research on admissions requirements for colleges and graduate schoolsProvide additional support and complete various projects as necessaryREQUIRED SKILLS: Excellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent computer skillsExtensive research experience with online sourcesDemonstrated ability to treat confidential and sensitive information with discretionDemonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and accuracy in all aspects of workMaster’s degree or Ph.D. requiredJob Type: Part-timePay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Ann Arbor, MI 48104: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Master’s (Preferred)Work Location: One location
