In the position of Social Media Specialist, you will plan, create, publish, and share new content (including original text, images, video, and code) on a daily basis to build meaningful Guest connections, increase Brand awareness and encourage community members to engage with the Brand. Founded in 2010 to fulfill the need for a sales and service experience that was equal to the Airstream brand, we exclusively sell and service Airstream travel trailers. We quickly expanded to several locations and are currently experiencing unprecedented demand. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EXPERIENCED SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
As a Social Media Specialist, you will work closely with the Marketing team to integrate content into social media platforms. You will write and edit all social media-related content and assist other writing-specific tasks including blogs, email blasts, and other content assignments as needed. You will promote the iconic Airstream brand and lifestyle with a focus on how Airstream Adventures delivers the best version of that experience! You will be able to create content that is universally relevant and inclusive and that engages respectfully and productively with a diverse audience of followers. You will enjoy actively connecting with those in the Airstream community (both online and offline) to highlight stories that would be considered impactful to others. You will be given the opportunity to perform a wide variety of marketing functions in coordination with Team Members inside and outside the department. You are able to juggle multiple tasks, remain organized, and effectively prioritize all while providing a Brand experience. You find your job engaging and get great satisfaction out of helping our Guests fulfill their dreams of creating memories in an Airstream!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
Degree in Social Media or similar discipline or equivalent in experience
3-5 years’ experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist or digital marketing
Previous experience in creative writing, editing (text/layout) and presentations
Previous experience working in a Team environment
Previous experience utilizing skills in grammatical, punctuation, spelling and vocabulary
Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Ability to travel to dealership locations in and out of state on a very minimal basis
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, excel, word, powerpoint, and other programs
Advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite
Graphic design experience is a plus

WORK SCHEDULE
This position typically works Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (on-site) with Saturdays and Sundays off. This position may occasionally have a need to adapt to work some hours on weekends to provide oversight to the various social media platforms.
