Position Summary
The Learning Center seeks to empower students to meet their goals by providing campus-wide academic support services. This is done through programs such as peer and online tutoring, academic coaching, workshops, and College Success courses.

The Tutor Coordinator will coordinate the tutoring program operations, planning and logistics for all tutoring activities, including training, outreach, scheduling and other administrative tasks for the program.

In-depth knowledge of adult learning theories, tutoring best practices, and excellent organizational skills are essential. The Tutoring Coordinator oversees a team of student employees and collaborates with a range of internal and external stakeholders across the University to conduct this work (leadership, staff, faculty, IT, HR, facilities). This position may represent the office in the context of certain projects. The Tutor Coordinator reports to the Director of the Learning Center.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 1-3 years of related experience
In-depth knowledge of adult learning theories and tutoring best practices
Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degrees and 1 year of related experience

Work Days/Hours Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement
The starting annual salary rate for this position will be between $46,092 and $49,500. The starting salary may be negotiable above this range, however it will be dependent upon the knowledge, experience, skills and abilities of the chosen candidate, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR.
