Job Description : Benefits can you Look Forward to.Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage effective on your very first dayRetirement Savings OpportunitiesResponsibilitiesDuties include but are not limited to:Clean assigned area or work and equipment.Clean mirrors, inside of the exterior glass and both sides of interior glass while standing on floor or step ladder.Collect and transport waste materials to a central location.Wet mop rooms and small areas of floor or stairs to clean up such items as spilled liquid or food.Maintain an inventory of supplies in accordance with specific instructions.Open or lock buildings or rooms.Operate touch-free spray/vacuum cleaning equipment.Required QualificationsMust have a High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and be able to follow instructions.Must be able to perform a wide range of physical activities including pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, etc.Must not have any type of lifting restrictions.Must be able to work around sick and disabled patients (children and adults) within a hospital setting.Must be able to perform all tasks listed on the Unit Custodian Classification Description.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.56 – $18.15 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayNight shiftOn callOvertimeWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:*U-M is following all current public health guidelines to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
