Position : Associate Regional Business Executive-East Coast
Job Description : This role is East Coast based and candidates must reside in one of the following states to be considered: NJ, VA, MI, TN, NC, GA, CT, and FL.
The Associate Regional Business Executive (ARBE) focus is to generate and build retail sales in a designated region. The ARBE will also be responsible for strategically mentoring a small team of Retail Account Executive(s) (RAE) and beauty advisors to reach target consumption goals. This position reports directly to Regional Business Executive (RBE).
The ideal candidate must enjoy working in the retail environment and demonstrate the ability to facilitate product education and training, sales achievement, relationship building skills and the ability to lead a team with confidence and agility. The ARBE must be highly organized and have strong time management skills. Effective communication, timely reporting practices and a collaborative approach with manager, teammates, and RAE(s) to develop business within the region, is a must. This position requires 80% travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and book in-store training and support dates
Execute effective in-store events to drive sales and support marketing objectives
Act as primary day-to-day brand contact for designated stores; achieve targeted sales growth within those stores while staying within budgetary parameters, as outlined by the Regional Business Executive
Follow designated in store visit call cycle to optimize territory coverage
Continuously assess and evaluate each door’s productivity, sales, and training results with the Regional Business Executive
Execute action plans to address store needs
Educate, train, and develop store staff and consultants with a focus on product knowledge and selling skills
Utilize sales, education, event tools and experience to support fiscal sales plan achievement
Develop and build strong relationships with store management and staff
Recruit, coach and develop a small team of freelancers
Achieve designated sales plan
Collaborate with RBE to identify business needs, opportunities, and plans of action
Connect weekly with RAE(s) to ensure proper market management
Maintain a schedule that supports administrative responsibilities and development of select RAE(s)
Provide consistent, timely, clear direction, communication, and feedback to team
Coach and develop RAE(s) through market visits and calls to continuously assess and evaluate productivity, sales, and training results
OPERATIONAL:
Maintain weekly communication with Retail Account Executive(s) and Regional Business Executive regarding business opportunities and solutions
Complete and submit post-event recaps and all business reports in a timely manner
Identify and communicate stock concerns. Relay stock concerns to the Regional Business Executive
Support in-store merchandising and visual programs and communicate challenges to Regional Business Executive
Follow up on event timelines with store teams and freelancers, in conjunction with the Regional Business Executive, to ensure optimal event execution and store participation
This job primarily visits store locations with sometime in the office. (75% in store, 25% office time)
At all times, maintain Brand Standards, while following ULTA protocol
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years working in ULTA Beauty retail environment is required
A minimum of 3 years managing retail beauty advisors (independent contractors) required
A minimum of 3 years direct selling to consumers experience within specialty beauty required
High school degree required, college degree highly preferred
Ability to think strategically, with proven ability to drive sales inspire, coach, and develop a team
Detail-oriented with experience assessing and analyzing sales performance & budget reporting
A valid driver’s license issued in the United States and a good driving record
Must demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to consistently deliver strong results
Must have the ability to self-start and motivate retail partners
Prioritize and organize work activities
Work effective schedule to reflect retail business needs (working weekends, holidays, etc., are a must)
Self-motivated with ability to work both independently & collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment
Must have an ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $57K to $85K. + sales incentive. The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program.
