Job Description : Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
Global Brand Finance provides the financial services to the Global Brand BU teams for developing and managing our Global Business Units and facilitates its strategic planning activities. Objective of the team is to deliver financial transparency for all US based BUs and Brand Partners in an efficient, value-added way. The teams are built with a focus on facilitating concept and product strategy process, target setting for the categories, complexity management, product range analysis, end-to-end reporting, cost controlling and financial management of global Marketing Working Budget.
The Business Analyst supports the US based Brand Finance team in all areas of responsibility in order to provide Business Units with all relevant financial data. The Business Analyst also directly interacts with internal Finance Business partners within Global Brand Finance based in Germany and GBS teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Support strategic planning and translating SBP targets in seasonal and sub-category targets, as well as operational rolling forecasts ambitions
Coordinate and own the monthly Brand Forecast submission for all US based Global BUs
Support and implement communication packages to present financial results, recommendations, and solutions for e.g., Net Sales, Volume, Margin, Range Size as well as OOH and MWB
Manage and own master data and product mapping updates across our financial system landscape
Adapt and modify working methods for day-to-day processes and systems
Apply state of the art analytical tools regarding range efficiency, drop rounds, workload indicators, margin calculation, market overlap
Work to achieve objectives and deliver results with a short-term, operational focus as part of the department targets

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

General business understanding is processes and structure
Result orientation and pro-activeness
High degree of customer orientation and collaboration
Ability to accept and manage deadlines
Ability to maneuver in a consistently changing and highly dynamic environment
Good communication skills for adapting and exchanging information
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Good analytical skills, managing large data quantities

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance/Controlling
System expertise in MS office, excellent skills in MS Excel, SAP and MicroStrategy
Strong competence in financial procedures
1-3 years working experience in Finance/Controlling departments
