Chiropractic Assistant/Medical Assistant (CA/MA)
Salem and Keizer, Oregon

Salary and Benefits:
$32,000-$38,000 annually.

Summary:
In this role, Chiropractic Assistants will assist Chiropractic Physicians and the Office Managers in running clinic operations and ensuring patients have a positive experience within the clinic. Chiropractic Assistants are essential in maintaining a clean work area for all patients and guests. Other duties include keeping track of medical supplies and equipment, verifying, and billing insurance, and managing confidential client files and scheduling. No experience is required. We encourage individuals to apply even with no chiropractic assistance experience and are willing to train in all aspects of clinical work. We have an excellent onboarding and training process to allow individuals to excel in this position and expand their knowledge.

Responsibilities and tasks:
Direct and hands-on patient care as instructed by the Chiropractor
Rehabilitation exercises for injured patients.
Strapping of patients.
Application and removal of modalities such as EMS, laser, US, heat, and traction.
Adding services performed depending on patient chart notes.
Tracking services are performed on exercise sheets and on a daily schedule or patient file folder.
Translations for diverse patient pool.
Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the clinic – cleaning tables after the patient visit, wiping down modalities, ensuring all rooms are clean prior to the arrival of the first patient for the day.
Upkeep of clinic inventory, including the stocking and ordering of items for each of the clinic rooms as needed.
Note when inventory is low to Office Manager.
Laundry, as needed.
Updating the New Patient marketing sheet as requested by the company marketing team.
Turn on/off hydro collator at the start and end of the day.
Request and help with google/Yelp reviews from patients.
Clinic correspondence – Aid in coordination of patient scheduling, answering phone calls, imaging scheduling, outside referrals to other physicians.
Helping the Office Manager with claims – opening, verifying, closing, checking insurance benefits.
Assisting the office manager with check deposits or accounting as needed.
Schedule management – patients, LMTs, acupuncturists, clinic hours. Book 2 weeks out at the very minimum. Keeping patients on schedule at all times is crucial.

Required Qualifications:
Billing, filing experience preferred.
Bilingual, Spanish Speaking, and English.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Google Suite proficiency.
Some knowledge about car accident processes is preferred.
