Position : Cultivation Manager
Job Description : We’re currently looking for a cultivation manager to oversee a newly built, highly automated commercial cultivation facility in Reading, MI. The position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Establishing and maintaining a crop production schedule to meet monthly and annual harvest goalsHelping build and lead motivated cultivation and post-harvest teamsEnsuring plant health and quality across all stages of crop development is not compromisedOverseeing all IPM functions for the cropsCoordinating product availability with ownership and sales teamMaintaining inventory of consumables for the facility (e.g. fertilizers, gloves, replacements filters, etc.)The ideal candidate will posses:Five years of commercial cannabis growing management experience and/or a degree in horticulture, plant science, or a plant related fieldExperience with rockwool based growing systems and associated cultivation practices is preferred; experience with hydroponics is a mustHands on knowledge of automated control systems for fertigation, HVAC, lights, etc.A desire to continually learn about new cultivation practices and equipment related to commercial indoor crop productionMeeting all of the above criteria would be ideal, but is not required.Please include pictures of past grow rooms or facilities you’ve managed, attached with your cover letter and resume, if it is feasible.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:10 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Reading, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Greenhouse & Nursery Growers: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
