Job Description : At Danone Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We have an opening for a Production Operator based in our Portland, Oregon manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be trained as filler/sanitation/flavorer and fill openings within production. This includes flavoring products based on standards developed by R&D, operating filling equipment to package product, and/or ensuring equipment and production is properly sanitized per quality standards.Job responsibilities include: (Knowledge of all duties is to be cross functional, but specific duties are assigned within available personnel)Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety and quality regulations.Must be familiar with basic machine functions.Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to daily duties.Must be able and certified by a qualified trainer to operate powered industrial trucks.Maintain documentation of cleaning and sanitizing records, and proceduresResponsible for performing solids and pH testing.Mixes ingredients using formula provided by R&DMaintain flavor documentation on batch sheets, provided by R&D.Follow written and approved work instructions, provided by Quality Technicians.With Quality approval, ensure print on gable top and boxes is accurate.Monitor proper product into proper package.Monitor supply of packaging for producing amount on order.Coordinate with warehouse operators to maintain print quality.Perform cleaning and sanitizing functions for all circuits, pipes, tanks, valves, and related equipment.Coordinate with all other operators and pasteurizers to maintain and monitor tank space.Review and interpret CIP data.
