Job Description : About The Role
The Investment Analyst will be employed within the Treasury department of Glacier Bancorp, Inc. The position is responsible for supporting the management of the company’s investment securities portfolio. Additional responsibilities include supporting Treasury initiatives including balance sheet management, Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) reporting, interest rate risk modeling, data & financial analysis, preparing time-sensitive reports (both internal and external), and independently managing a variety of Treasury related projects.
The location for this Corporate Position is Kalispell, MT.
The entry-rate for this position is $74,436.97+ /yr (calculated for Kalispell, MT). All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.
Backs up and supports the Investment Officer in the management of the company’s investment securities portfolio. Assists in maintaining supporting documentation for investment securities. Assists in the development and execution of investment and earnings enhancement strategies. Monitors relative performance of securities. Assists in managing counterparty relationships and third-party vendors. Keeps informed of developments in the capital markets.
Supports Empyrean ALM modeling. Supports interest rate risk and capital stress testing including model development, scenario design, assumption development, and model documentation.
Supports Treasury initiatives as a key part of the Treasury team. Provides analytical and decision-making support to Senior Management.
Provides data and financial analysis for a variety of Treasury related projects.
Responsible for timely and accurate reporting for all areas of responsibility. Responsible for monitoring and developing internal controls, procedures and policies for all areas of responsibility.
Provides appropriate communication, verbal or written reports, to Senior Management and ALCO members for appropriate decision-making.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
