Job Description : We are hiring a Food Service Director for a healthcare location!The Food Service Director directs and oversees all aspects of the organization’s food and nutrition department planning and service, with duties to include menu planning and costs, preparation, and presentation of food. Adherence to quality and safety standards. Plans, coordinates, and oversees special events.$70,000 plus bonus potentialFull benefits, PTO/vacation, wellness programs, and much more!Responsibilities: Develop and implement policies and procedures in the dining service program that are in compliance with food service regulationsMonitors monthly expendituresDirects and supervises all dietary functions and personnelResponds to customer complaints in accordance with company’s standardsIs responsible for food purchase, production, and timely service of mealsEnsure excellence in service and quality of productsCreate and lead presentations at client meetingsDevelops sanitation schedule and ensures that foodservice employees adhere to the cleaning schedulesProvide leadership and direction for timely decisionsCheck all patient service trays for accuracy and neatness before they are deliveredEnsures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly storedPrepares performance evaluationsAttend scheduled weekly manager’s meetingsReceives and resolves employee complaintsInspect kitchen staff to ensure they are in clean and proper dress code at all times.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;Prior food service experience in an acute healthcare care setting, preferredPrior food service experience in a healthcare setting, requiredMust be knowledgeable of Federal and State rules and regulations regarding nursing home dietary requirementsRequires a commitment to continuous improvement in all areas of the departmentKnowledge of FDA and USDA regulations regarding food practices and handling requiredMust have excellent interpersonal relationship skills in order to be an effective communicator with both internal and external individualsAbility to instruct others in food preparation, service, and sanitation tasksAbility to effectively supervise other food service staff members; good interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of the rules and regulations related to health and safety in food preparationMust have the proven ability to lead and manage people and possess excellent organizational skills.If you are looking to be part of something big, APPLY NOW!Job Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:Day shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payExperience:Food Service Director: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
