Position : Internal Communications Specialist
Job Description : We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Internal Communications Specialist to help us in our overall marketing efforts. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness and product promotion to thought leadership opportunities. The Internal Communications Specialist should be a competent professional and self-starter able to generate creative ideas. The goal is to deliver effective marketing focused communications and thought leadership content that will build our reputation and growth. This position will report directly to the CEO.Who we are: OperateBeyond/TrailerCentral is a leading provider of cloud-based marketing and management solutions for specialty dealerships (trailers, powersports, watercraft, RV’s and more). Our solutions empower our clients to effectively and efficiently market their products and broaden their audience reach. We also own TrailerTrader, which is the largest online trailer marketplace for people to buy or sell trailers.Responsibilities: Plan and execute customer facing events including 1-3 trade shows & scheduled webinarsManage internal communications output.Execute steps within a certain time frame.Publish timely company informationEnsure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision.Measure and present results of communication efforts.Adjust communication plan as needed.Set timing of release to coordinate with company events or initiatives.Support ideas with research and experience.Refine core messaging to ensure organizational consistency in all aspects of communication including development, organizing and education.Ensure consistent framing of messages.Create and publish videos and photography on company website and blogs.Edit and revise content as necessary including managing brochures.Edit, design, and print internal publications.Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, etc)Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategiesCollaborate with the marketing team to establish new ideasUndertake tasks of a marketing planSkills: Proven experience in communications and marketing as well as graphic designThorough understanding of marketing elementsSolid computer skills, including Google Docs, marketing software (Salesforce) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)Experience in using email software such as MailchimpWell-organized and detail orientedExceptional communication and writing skillsAbility to be flexible with changes in projects and tasksBS/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent preferredJoin our Team!We are always looking for people that bring new perspectives and life experiences to our team.
