Position : Project Manager
Job Description : BJ Construction is looking for a Construction Project Manager. This individual will be responsible to manage, oversee and execute commercial construction projects form inception to completion. Projects include restaurants, offices, assistant living, higher education, etc. 75% of their work will be in the office, and 25% of the time they will be required to be in the field checking on status of project to then report back to customer/internal team.Hours/Schedule: 7AM – 5/6PM. Some Saturdays when needed. Year round.Once new work is secured they will:Bid to close out phaseReview contractsFinalize amounts and set up budgetsSubmit materials needed and shop drawingsWrite subcontracts and purchase orders to secure vendors and materialsKick off meetings with superintendent and foreman (biweekly meetings internally)Maintain job scheduleMaintain and manage field personnelProject budgetingProject invoicing monthly to customersAWA’S logging and entering data to files and Viewpoint Software Used:Edge (Estimating)ViewpointJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $125,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Chesterfield, MI 48047: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Project management: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
