Job Description : Job descriptionJob Description -Bridge City Concrete & Asphalt seeking to hire people with asphalt experience. We are looking for people who are committed to working safely and to delivering high-quality results for our customers.Possible Signing Bonus – Depending on ExperienceResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: – Ability to work in all weather-Perform assigned task on paving crew as directed. This may include various equipment operations and laboring.- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.- Maintain a clean job site: pick up tools, equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential- Must be able to take direction from foreman- Other duties assigned as needed.Plus: – CDL Class A- Valid Insurable Drivers License- Asphalt equipment use ie: TL8, TL12, Excavator, Roller, Paver etc.- Demo/Prep experience- Asphalt Install and Seal Coat experienceMinimum Qualifications: – Previous experience or background in all types of asphalt paving, i.e., streets, highways, parking lots and small commercial projects.-Ability to bend, stoop, lift 50lbs +, push and be on your feet in all weather conditions – Ability to work flexible shifts which include: days, nights, weekends and overtime.- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, age, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, protected Veteran status or any other protected category under applicable state/federal law.Benefits: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Paid Time OffJob Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 – $40.00 per hour DEOJob Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 – $40.00 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus paySigning bonusExperience:Paving Equipment Operators: 1 year (Preferred)Asphalt: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
