Job Description : If you are reliable and ambitious and looking for a non-traditional position within the dental/medical field then this position is for you!We are a family practice specializing in treatment of TMJ and Sleep Disorders in a cutting edge, non-invasive way. Both of the Doctors have their fellowships in Craniofacial pain while also have been actively developing appliances and treatments to alleviate patients pain while also fixing the problem in the first place. Our founding doctor has been practicing dentistry for over 40 years and treating TMJ and Sleep Apnea for 22 years. His Daughter has been a part of the practice and has been helping patients for over 8 years since she graduated from dental school. Their philosophy has been to provide the highest level of care and employ the most well rounded, fully encompassed care that is possible.Here at the TMJ and Sleep Disorders of Michigan, we are one of only a few offices in the country that offer a form of treatment that isn’t a surgical option. Unlike tradition treatment, each and every patient has a treatment plan tailored specifically to their unique needs. In conjunction with our custom orthotics, we apply cold laser therapy, dry needling, trigger point injections, botox therapy and work closely with a number of other providers in the surrounding areas. Working closely with ENT’s, Physical Therapists and Dietitians we are able to provide an all encompassing treatment to drastically better our patients lives.Your focus at first will be assisting the doctor, but after that the sky’s the limit. We are looking for new team members to aid us in the transition to a new location and with potential for growth to become key leader roles. We offer several different forms of continuing education and make sure you have every opportunity to grow and excel. We are looking for ambitious people not only wanting to better their patients’ lives but also their own lives. Our education programs encompass everything from basic TMJ and Sleep Apnea courses, advanced anatomy and diagnostic processes through to sales and managerial courses. We are looking for people who want to find a place to grow as a career and not just be another job.Responsibilities/ take on roles if experienced in the following;-Patient education- Carestream-Softdent / Dentrix software experience is preferred, but not required- Patient treatment plan consultations as needed- New patient experiences and screening- Ordering supplies on budget for practice- Assisting doctor with procedures- Experience in dentistry involving case close, personalized service is highly applicable to this role.Our benefits include personal paid days after 90 days, paid vacation after 1 year, continuing education including paid travel, retirement plan after 3 years of employment, team bonus program and free family dentistry.We prefer you live a reasonable commuting distance who is dependable and responsible.
