Job Description : *Sign On Bonus Available: $1,500 for Full time, $750 for part time**All locations hiring*General Summary: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, specimens, and medication, throughout the Hospital as assigned.Essential Duties: Practicing safe lifting and techniques, transports patients by assisting patients in and out of cars, lifting patients on and off beds, moving patients to and from special services and treatment areas using wheelchairs, gurneys, or moveable beds.Transports medications, specimens, and blood appropriately as directed.Transports bodies to the morgue and assists in placing them in the cooler. Assists in moving bodies to the autopsy table.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities provided.Answers incoming telephone calls for the department and documents as appropriate.Standard Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.Successful Healthcare Provider Course Completion is required.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
