Summary:
The Quality Improvement – Analyst assists the Quality Improvement Program Coordinator and Manager in obtaining accurate data collection, data entry and data reporting functions for the Corvallis Clinic quality management and improvement programs.

Responsibilities:

Will participate and maintain a culture within The Corvallis Clinic consistent with the content outlined in the Service and Behavioral Standards Caregiver Handbook. To this end, employee will be expected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles contained within.
Partner with quality team members in the maintenance of an organizational performance measurement system.
Supports data collection, analysis and submission required for clinical quality improvement monitoring and reporting.
Supports the day-to-day operations for data collection, analysis and submission required for clinical quality improvement monitoring and reporting.
Maintenance of accurate and complete documentation for quality analytics and reporting.
Tracks measuring of patient safety, quality measures, readmissions, and other performance improvement initiatives.
Monitor and pull reports for patient experience data submission and results.
Assist in the compilation and maintenance of reports and dashboards using statistical tools and techniques.
Prepare and review data as required for reporting to Quality Manager, Program Coordinator, TCC stakeholders and external quality program requirements.
Works closely with Quality Improvement Manager and Program Coordinator to facilitate accountability and ongoing improvement of quality metrics.
Contribute to quality improvement documents and reports, including but not limited to: QI project documents, quality reports, clinic dashboards and metrics, meeting minutes.
Maintains organized records for all projects.

Education, licensure, and experience:

1Associates degree in a Computer Science, Healthcare Research, Healthcare or related field required; equivalent education and training may substitute. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience and/or training in keyboarding, word processing, databased management and the use of all Microsoft Windows programs required.
Experience with retrieving and displaying data in usable formats that are actionable from a customer’s perspective
Medical terminology knowledge, preferred.

Knowledge and skills:

Ability to work compatibly with physicians, patients, and other staff.
Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues.
Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.
Knowledge of medical practice, quality management techniques, methodology, data collection techniques and systems.
Skilled in data collection, analysis and reporting of applicable data.
Excellent computer skills.
Time management skills.
