Position : Technology Assistant
Job Description : JOB DESCRIPTION: Anderson School is seeking a Technology Assistant for the 2022-2023 school year. This position will provide technology support throughout the building with 210 students and 30 staff. The technology assistant will provide on-site level one support, working with the district’s IT Director and Systems Administrator. Duties will include support, troubleshooting, and provisioning of Chromebooks, iPads, Windows laptops, printers, and other devices. The staff member will also work closely with teaching staff using technology in their classrooms (interactive projection, document cameras, surround sound, teleconferencing). Other network-related duties may be required at the direction, and with the assistance of, the IT Director.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Classified employee, 10-15 hours per week
Schedule may reflect 2-4 hours per day, 4-5 days per week. Some flexibility in development of weekly schedule.
Position includes but is not limited to:
Assist with daily technology needs – printing, connectivity, projectors, document cameras, chromebooks, etc.
Assist with operation, updating, and training of software and cloud-based systems
Coordinate tech support with outside IT personnel and resources
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Fingerprint Background Check clearance
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED. Additional education and experience preferred.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
General computer diagnostic capabilities, general network and/or wifi knowledge and experience, and general experience with Chromebooks, iPads, and Windows devices.
Experience with GSuite/Google Workspace preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Ability to navigate/use ladders and lifts unassisted
