Job Description : Henkel is HIRING IMMEDIATELY – UV Coatings Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Madison Heights, MI.HENKEL BENEFITSAs a UV Coatings Manufacturing Technician, you will be eligible for great benefits that start onDAY ONE: Competitive Salary – $50,000-$60,000 per year.Medical, dental, vision and life insurancePaid vacation and holidays401k matchingCareer development opportunitiesEmployee discount and referral programsYOUR ROLETo carry out laboratory activities including functional coating formula preparation and testingTo attend and participate in work-related meetings and discussionsTo record testing activities in the laboratory notebook and provide data to other Functional Coatings team membersTo make available results of technical activities in data chart and tablesTo keep work areas adequately equipped and to maintain neatness and safety to acceptable standardsTo perform any normal duties such as laboratory ordering, preparation of shipping samples and documentationBachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferredA minimum of 1-year industrial experience in a paint or coatings laboratory environmentUnderstanding of coating applications and testing equipment such as mixing, dispersing, and application equipmentUnderstanding of coatings preparation and testing, experience with UV coating a plusStrong team spirit and appreciation of an agile working environmentHenkel is an equal opportunity employer.
