Job Description : A fantastic and exciting career opportunity for Director of Performance and Clinical Improvement LEAN is now available with a reputable non-profit community hospital in Serene Oregon! The Director of Process and Clinical Excellence will be part of a locally based and locally-managed non-profit healthcare organization that is known for providing the community with quality services for the past 60 years.
This Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence LEAN Director will be accountable to manage, collaborate and coordinate organization wide efforts to ensure that performance management (PM) programs are developed and managed using a data driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned with the organization’s vision, mission, and strategic goals. The Director of LEAN Continuous Clinical and Operational Improvement will act as the organizational leader of business process improvement through Performance Excellence deployment for the hospital.
The Process Improvement and Clinical Effectiveness Director is a key role in the implementation of Performance Excellence at the system level including Lean/Six Sigma training, project selection, project leadership, and guidance of key team members. The Director of LEAN Performance and Operational Improvement will be the Change Agent responsible for leading the organization into a patient focused, data driven, team-oriented culture that embraces continuous improvement within a Lean/Six Sigma environment, and ensures the implementation of such in all business functions across the organization. This includes the management of personnel, budgetary and other resources.
The LEAN Clinical, Operational and Performance Excellence Director will function as an internal consultant to administration, directors/Directors, medical staff and staff on quality improvement principles. The Clinical Effectiveness and Process Improvement LEAN Director will assure that organization wide quality initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness to promote quality patient care.
