Position : Production Scheduler

Job Description : Job PurposeThe Production Scheduler is responsible for ensuring the schedule follows the released production plan from planning and actively helping Production produce the schedule. This position is responsible for managing and delivering a production schedule, which meets both the requirements of our customers and optimizes factory efficiency.This position will work day shift, with flexible start time between 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.Key AccountabilitiesAssist with on-time shipments to customer by utilizing the production schedule.Ensure scheduled orders are completed to support on time delivery and support initiatives to meet site KPI’s.Become first line of defense for maintaining the structure and order of the schedule once the schedule has been prepared and submitted to the appropriate departments.Communicate the production schedule to Production Planner, Production, and Site Management. Ensure open communication to stakeholders and changes to the schedule.Update and optimize the flow of products through the factory through constantly monitoring the factory performance and the position of each batch and make the necessary (small) adjustments to the schedule. Ensure materials and equipment are pre-arranged for production.Responsible for active development and coordination of production schedules daily or weekly in order to meet customer needs in line with site objectives. Ability to expedite, make immediate changes, manage lead time with managing multiple systems and demands. Create and maintain production schedule to meet production goals deadlines and customer needs.Promote the quality system through adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures.Actively participate in Continuous Improvement efforts and continuously work towards process improvement, inventory reduction/levelling, reduced scheduling effort, increased production efficiency, accurate delivery date quotes, and providing real time information.*Education & Experience*Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing (5 – 7 years), with emphasis on raw material scheduling, customer service, and/or inventory control roles.Strong working knowledge of effective supply chain performance including supply planning, customer service, supplier and asset management.Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, MS Teams, as well as SAP knowledge and MRP experience.Customer focus, detail oriented.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Good organizational and time management skills.Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
