In this full-time role as a Purchasing Assistant, you will be part of a small close-knit team working in a fast-paced purchasing department in the J. Ranck Electric, Mt Pleasant, Michigan corporate office.The Role: In this entry level position, you will be entering purchasing orders and working with the accounting department, as needed, to resolve order issues. You will also be helping with material returns and tracking, as well as following up on open commitments.Qualifications: Must be detail oriented and accurate, flexible, organized, and able to meet deadlines. Prior purchasing experience is helpful but not required.Wage: This is a full-time position. Wage is dependent upon experience with a benefit package that includes medical, paid time off, paid training, company-match 401K, discretionary profit sharing and year-end bonus.Job Type: Full-timePay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: One location
