Overview
The Airport Operations Supervisor supervises a team of Airport Operations Specialists, ensuring the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport maintains Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification and compliance. Under general supervision, performs administrative, technical and professional duties pertaining to Airport Operations.

Responsibilities
Recommend and/or effect the full range of duties (with appropriate managerial review), including hiring, evaluations, promoting, assigning of duties, disciplining and terminating employment.
Maintain manuals such as the Airport Certification Manual (ACM) and Airport Emergency Plan (AEP)
Perform Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) duties while ensuring responsibilities outlined in the Airport Emergency Plan are followed.
Airside inspections, coordinate airport construction, issuing NOTAMs, and mitigate wildlife hazards and snow removal operations.
Work closely with stakeholders and mutual aid departments.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager – Operations and ARFF.
Qualifications
Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Airport Management, Business, Public Administration or a related field. Three years’ experience in airport operations or administration with demonstrated experience conducting FAR 139 airfield inspections and supervising employees, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
ACE Certified Employee-Operations (ACE) or willingness to obtain within six months.
ARFF Certification or willingness to attain 40-hour ARFF Certification within one month. Preference given to those who have attained AAAE – Airport Certified Employee – Operations (ACE) and 40-hour ARFF Certification.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience with snow removal equipment in runway environment, specifically broom and plow operations.
Must be able to pass criminal history background check and obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearance required to work at an airport and possess a valid Driver’s License.

Work Schedule
Candidate must be available to work irregular schedules including early mornings, late nights, weekends.

Compensation
The starting salary is $65,000 – $70,000 per year depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits package.
