Job Description : $2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS! $250 paid at hire, $500 paid at 3/6/9 months, $750 paid after one year of employment.

Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative provides proactive customer service and takes appropriate action to ensure company and customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This customer facing role involves responding to customer order inquiries, offering support with product information, coordinating solutions for problem resolution and complaints, and acting as a communications liaison between customers and internal stakeholders including operations, sales, and quality.
Essential Duties
Serve as the initial point of contact for customers regarding pricing, inventory, scheduling, and shipping.
Receive and review customer purchase orders. Enter customer orders and provide confirmation. Coordinate ship dates with operations and sales.
Enter customer complaints and create sales returns.
Create new customer card in ERP system including new customer form, tax exemption form, and additional requirements as applicable.
Prepare commercial documents for international shipments in accordance with Corporate Trade Compliance requirements. Work with freight forwarders on documents for third party screening and post-shipment EEI filing as applicable.
Partner with internal stakeholders to support divisional initiatives related to raw materials change notifications, price increases, etc.
Create and maintain customer files.
Receive and review daily report of deposits for cash-in-advance payments and release orders to operations.
Provide support for other internal departments as necessary.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2+ years of related customer service experience.
Experience with Trade Compliance including working knowledge of customs and international shipping documentation and regulations as required.
Must be a highly organized and self-motivated individual able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read, understand and communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent interpersonal and team skills
Takes ownership and makes decisions based on business policies and protocols.
Strong computer skills including ability to use various software packages (ERP, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel).
