Salary Range: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00
Job Description: Premier Direct Mail marketing and printing company in MI is busy. Due to growth the company is searching to hire a Variable Data Programmer. Responsibilities include: Performing duties related to handling, storing and manipulating data. Will inspect, manipulate and process postal mail data and make sure data meets requirements and sends data to production. Process data including CASS, NCOA and presorting. Create and modify programs to achieve production goals. Create and maintain databases. Produce print ready data for the digital printing department. Operate database management programs. Communicate with various internal staff and clients. Able to read and interpret job tickets and ask questions as needed. Able to learn new software and processes to help in production. Qualifications include: Minimum 3 years experience with database applications (dbase or similar). Programming/scripting experience. 3 years’ experience with digital printing equipment such as HP Indigo/Xerox/OCE etc. Experience with USPS as related to postal automation and standards. Experience with GMC Printnet, XMpie or related software. Experience with postal automation software such as BCC. Must have strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and organizational skills required. Must be able to multi-task and able to work independently or in a team environment. Starting salary range $60,000 – $70,000 + good company benefits, 401k match.
