Reporting to: Master Captain
Schedule: Flexible, event based schedule
Position Overview:
Deliver a safe, welcoming, and exceptional cruising experience for our guests! Take an active role in upholding the integrity of our custom-built yachts with a focus on polish and positivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create a partnership with the Captains and Licensed Mates to learn basic marine operations and safety procedures such as line handling, passenger safety, safety drills, customer service, and US Coast Guard protocols
Provide active communication with all team members and develop accountability to ensure a standard of excellence regarding vessel safety
Work alongside of marine-focused individuals to uphold outstanding vessel appearance and internal yacht maintenance
Support internal team members during peak service times with a focus on guest experience
Create and sustain a consistently safe and positive environment for the team; ability to maintain a positive attitude throughout the workday
Take ownership of company and reputation; exhibit a professional appearance and behavior at all times and become knowledgeable about company brands and services
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years-old
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Motivated to work independently in a fast pace environment
Able to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed
