As an IT Delivery Supervisor, you will lead a small to medium sized agile delivery team. You will play the ScrumMaster role, coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality while helping to build a learning culture within the team and drive team engagement. You will ensure best practices for delivering user centered and quality minded software. You will partner with product management and your team to help understand, prioritize, and refine backlog items. You will lead and support the team in developing an increased knowledge of methodologies and system knowledge.
This Delivery Lead Supervisor will be a part of the Originations Applications Development Team
Outcomes and Activities:
This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at an office location if requested by the team member
Partner collaboratively with PMO, Product, Stakeholders and IT team members to achieve objectives.
Maintain team level backlog that clearly describes priority and upcoming themes for refinement. Keep the product backlog clean.
Ensures the backlog balances business outcomes and risk, recommends changes.
Leverage burndown charts and other relevant metrics to assess and manage the team’s progress against release plans.
Champion team in following standards and working agreements including but not limited to; definition of ready, definition of done, test driven development, clean code standards, and documentation. Recommend process improvements.
Improve your application and team processes collaboratively through retrospective and continuous learning environment engagement. Own and mentor others in effective process improvement.
Heightened focus on using Test Driven Development to prevent defects and decrease post deploy production incidents.
Monitors the health of the teams, recognizes and acts on coaching opportunities to increase team health.
Recognize upstream and downstream impacts; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Gain insight; know your application design & data; support and critique solutions recommended by team.
Understand the business processes your application supports.

Development: Develops solutions using standards and best practices of the applications language. Writes code that implements the design that is testable, extensible, efficient and maintainable
Elicitation Techniques: Engage PMO, Product and stakeholders from multiple departments to build a shared understanding of the opportunity.
Facilitation Techniques: Coaches team members on best practices for organizing meetings, workshops, and presentations specific to the objectives of each problem to be solved and the needs of the audience.
Impact Analysis: Understands the rationale behind changes and how they impact the enterprise and/or applications and across the technical ecosystem.
Requirement Management: Plans, monitors, and controls all of the work associated with requirements elicitation and collaboration, requirements analysis and design, and requirements life cycle management.
Solution Design: Ability to translate high level requirements to create and implement designs that meet the needs of the customer, are technically sound, maintainable and cost effective.
Technical Domain: Have an understanding of the technical domain, including the application architecture, design and data of the application they support and systems to which it interfaces.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years in leading software delivery teams.
Minimum of 1 year experience playing ScrumMaster role.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Proven experience in designing and implementing technology enabled solutions.
Proven experience leveraging agile and incremental methods on medium to large scale software development efforts.
Proven experience as a velocity contributing member of a cross-functional agile team.
Preferred Experience:
Agile Project management experience, PMP Certification
Relevant Scrum Alliance Scrum Certifications
Minimum of 3-year experience supporting a digital (web, mobile or service based) application
Ability to write complex database queries (SQL / PLSQL) and study data patterns
Basic understanding of full-stack Java technologies
Convey complex information in a timely and easily understood way to all levels of the organization

Targeted Compensation – $115,081 – $134,261 base salary + an annual bonus plan
This position is not currently open to individuals who require sponsorship now or in the future to work legally for Credit Acceptance, such as H-1b / H-4 or F-1 OPT visa holders.
