Position: Sales Manager
How You Will Make a Difference
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a key region of Specialty Accounts for the US wholesale team. Maintaining strong customer relationships while providing best in class service to The North Face wholesale account base are priorities for this position. The Sales Manager is responsible for executing seasonal programs and for the placement of specialty product assortments across the regional account base while ensuring seasonal financial targets are met. A strong familiarity of the extensive The North Face product line is critical. As a member of The North Face sales team, the Sales Manager is responsible for consistently communicating marketplace feedback and account specific needs. The Sales Manager will be regularly called upon to develop and execute seasonal Go-To-Market projects specific to their account base.

What you will do:
Work with The North Face wholesale and product teams to create and manage preseason sales plans, prioritize the sell-in of seasonal objectives, develop sales meeting strategies, major account appointments, and account negotiations.
Develop and execute comprehensive Specialty specific product line showings across all TNF categories.
Partner with Sales Director to develop seasonal sell-in strategies, marketplace feedback and forecasts.
Assist in cross functional efforts to organize and attend regional trade shows.
Travel 40% of the time annually and especially during peak sales campaigns.
How you will do it:
Driving wholesale sales growth, and continually strengthening the businesses of assigned Specialty Accounts.
Partner with the marketing and technical rep teams to optimize The North Face consumer experience within the Specialty channel.
Present regional account information to The North Face leadership.
Develop and nourish relationships with business owners and their staff.
Maintain organization of multiple forms of account communications, product samples and business processes.

Skills for Success
Years of Related Professional Experience: 2-3 years
Educational Position Requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
What we expect you already know:
To succeed as a Sales Manager, you need to have an eye for detail and be comfortable with providing solutions to ever-changing marketplace challenges. Communication is key in your role as you will have to work with different internal stakeholders and manage multiple accounts. As we work against deadlines, planning your short and long-term activities in the best way possible is also important. What you’ll need:
Strong communication skills both verbally and digitally.
Ability to present complex information in front of large groups.
Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage projects remotely, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines as determined by The North Face and its customer base.
Experience in successfully managing and growing specialty retail businesses.
Excellent MS Office application skills including Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
Excellent organizational skills (planning, scheduling, and budgeting).
Ability to lift 40lbs or less.

Salary Range:
$60,000.00 USD – $90,000.00 USD annually
Annual Incentive Eligibility :
This position is eligible to participate in VF’s Annual Incentive Plan. Incentive Plan awards are contingent upon (1) achievement of your individual objectives and (2) VF achieving its’ Corporate and business level financial objectives.
Long Term Incentive Eligibility :
This position is not eligible for long term incentive.
