Payrate: $25/hr
Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm
Assignment Duration: Long-Term Contract
**Position will start of working remotely! **

(Applicant must be located in the Great Lakes Bay Region – the position could return to working onsite at any time)

What’s a typical day as a Computer Service Specialist? You’ll be:
Oversee requests and incidents in ServiceNow tool to ensure they are completed within target
Oversee computer orders to ensure on-time delivery, escalating with vendors when necessary
Monitor team mailbox and respond to client questions
Identify service improvements and work with Service Manager to implement changes to the service
Manage knowledge articles and other client-support documentation
Assist in computer asset management tasks, ensuring the state and location of all computers is known and accurate
Windows 7 Elimination Project
Track status of orders, migrations and returns
Assist users who need support in migrating to their new computer
Assist users in returning their old computer
Assist in reporting asset and cost information to users/leaders
Assist in forecasting future computer purchases
Manage various run-the-business initiatives and issues as they are identified.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have the following Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong customer service skills, responding to client needs quickly and effectively
Manage own work effort in multiple projects with little supervision??
Strong logical and analytical thinker with attention to detail?
Appropriate risk taker who can anticipate risks and mitigate in the moment, and is able to find root causes of problems and quickly determine efficient solutions?
Comfortable under high-stress and exhibits poise and focus?
Demonstrate continuous improvement mindset and creativity?
Strong verbal and written communication skills, creative and comfortable with various communication media and?can?engage technical and non-technical audiences?
An ability to convey technical issues and material to non-technical individuals?
Experience working with complex system implementations and organizational processes?

Requirements:??
HS Diploma or GED required
3-5 years of experience in?an?IT related support?preferred
Experience with monitoring of ticketing system, prioritizing problems, supporting projects, and supporting enterprise level infrastructure?
