Office Specialist 2 Position Overview:
The primary purpose of this position will be to This position also provides customer service to daily rental customers and clerical support to Fleet Operations.
Enterprise Asset Management is comprised of the Facilities Program, including Maintenance, Operations, Planning and Construction Management, and Real Estate Services; the Statewide Fleet Administration and Parking Services Program, and the Oregon Surplus Property Program. The core focus of these programs is property management, both real and personal, for the benefit and optimal use of state government enterprise-wide to support agencies space, travel, and operational needs. What Are We Looking For?
Two years of general clerical experience, one year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR
An Associate’s degree; OR
Graduation from a private school of business with a certificate AND one year of general clerical experience.
Candidates who are the most competitive will have professional experience with:
Basic knowledge of general office procedures and understanding of organization and functions of State of Oregon government.
Public relations skill to provide exceptional customer service.
Ability to communicate detailed information to a diverse audience. Communication must be at a professional level with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
