Position : Patient Services Specialist I Full Time CALL CENTER WORK FROM HOME

Job Description : This is a call center position in the Customer Service and Billing Department. The position is responsible for, but not limited to:
Helping patients understand their balances
Verifying and adding insurance
Assisting in collecting payments, and establishing payment arrangements
Investigating patient balances, and engaging other Revenue Cycle areas as needed
Meeting quality and performance standards

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields preferred.
Experience in customer service or healthcare-related field.
Three to five years prior experience in a healthcare revenue cycle position or in customer service role preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, supervisor, and manager.
Ability to work independently.
