This position is a full year position that requires work during summer months.

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN KLAMATH FALLS

JOB SUMMARY:
This position professionally represents Douglas ESD programs in its interactions with county, regional, and state partners. Partners include families, community, state agencies, school educators/community based early learning partners and staff. Coordinates planning and programming efforts to provide support to promote the collaborative efforts of department programs.

DUTIES:
This is not an exhaustive or all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills, duties or functions associated with the job.
Coordinates meetings, workshops, and events specific to the program by coordinating all components as needed.
Occasionally participates in partners, community and other designated events related to the program.
Assists with logistics for delivering technical assistance through working closely with program staff to problem solve.
Professionally represents all the programs and professionally interacts with parents, community, early learning educators and staff.
Promotes community awareness, interest in, and support of the early learning system.
Maintains cooperative working relations and facilitates networking with various community and state agencies and organizations.
Provides technical assistance and support to staff and community partners in the development and implementation of the program to ensure the design is research based and fits the needs of the specific community.
Manages deadlines and requirements in a fast-paced, demanding context with the ability to self-manage and direct as needed.
