What is a cleanroom?
A cleanroom is the controlled environment where we manufacture microcontrollers. External pollutants or particles such as dust are cycled through HEPA filters constantly in accordance with cleanroom specifications. Temperature and humidity are carefully controlled and constant.
What is a bunny suit?
Production Specialists wear a “bunny suit” that covers them from head to foot and includes a suit, hood, boot covers, gloves, face covering for your nose and mouth and safety glasses. A bunny suit is made out of a lightweight, polyester material that you wear over your normal clothes. Comfort is essential, and many specialists wear athetic wear such as tennis shoes, t-shirt, comfortable pants or basketball shorts to work every day!
