POSITION IS LOCATED AT OUR AMERICAN WAY BRANCH. APPLICANTS INTERESTED IN EITHER PT (30 HOURS/WEEK) OR FT (37-40 HOURS/WEEK) ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!
Position serves as customer first-point-of contact in the Commercial Loan Department. Position performs clerical duties and provides administrative support to work unit, in addition to performing duties associated with tracking of departmental loan files. Represents the bank in a professional manner when greeting customers and the general public on the phone and in person, insuring that they are directed to someone who can provide them with assistance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position performs clerical duties and provides administrative support to work unit.
Greet and assist customers and visitors who enter the department; direct customers to the appropriate officer, staff personnel or department. Receive and route all incoming department calls appropriately. Take accurate telephone messages and deliver messages in a timely manner. May schedule appointments for officers, using appropriate program. Review and route incoming mail to appropriate personnel in the department, file mail that has been processed/reviewed, make address changes and route information to other departments. Provide notary services. Perform other miscellaneous duties including, but not limited to, performing opening/closing procedures, taking meeting minutes, calling for main printer service when necessary; and organizing/coordinating departmental gatherings.
Track new and existing loans for financials, collateral, UCC and insurance information to ensure the documents are received, filed and updated as necessary in the “tickler” system. Perform quality control review of data entered in collateral tracking system by loan assistants. Process and scan insurance renewals/cancellations, paid notes, loan documents, and other documents as needed. Process paids and maintain paid spreadsheet. File loan documents, loan files, and correspondence including letters, memoranda, and various forms and reports. May prepare, input and track UCC financing statements/continuation statements for all new and existing commercial loans. Assist Loan Assistants with collateral tracking, filing and other clerical duties as needed/assigned.
Order and maintain adequate supplies for department.
About You:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Six months of similar or related experience.
A high school degree or GED is required. Must possess or be able to obtain notary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work environment with moderate noise.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, use hands to finger, handle and feel items, write, read, and keyboard.
Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimiles, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 4-6 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds periodically.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
