Job Description : MEDfarms is seeking an experienced inventory manager in the cannabis industry to oversee its warehouse inventory of non marijuana items such as ingredients, packaging, merchandise and much more. This person needs to have an eye for detail, the ability to learn quickly and is a team player. They MUST have a vast knowledge of products, weights and inventory procedures. They MUST be detail oriented, friendly, a team player and able to follow policies and procedures.Essential Job Function:Must maintain a clean and well organized inventory and fulfillment area as well as manage the physical inventory storage.Coordinate and perform physical inventory audits ensuring accuracy within METRC.Ensure all inventory reconciliation is regularly completed and submitted to METRC.Request and Maintain adequate inventory levels, by communicating product needs/trends to the supply chain and purchasing teams.Must be extremely well organized to manage large amounts of inventory data and work with managers to ensure accuracy at all locations.Complete responsibility for all inbound and internal facility inventory transactions.Proactively identify and communicate slow / non moving items.Proactively monitor and maintain minimum inventory threshold levels.Responsible for receiving, verifying and onboarding new inventory.Communicate with manufacturing, purchasing teams and other departments as needed to research discrepanciesEnsure loss prevention / security policies and practices are being followed.Serve as a resource for any inventory questions, suggestions and concerns.Delivery of inventory to locations as needed.Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:21 Years or OlderPrevious inventory experience will be vital in this position4+ years of inventory or related experienceMETRC experience preferred but not requiredGeneral knowledge of weights, measurements and conversionsGreat organizational skills, efficient at multitasking and must be a self-starterAbility to multi-task with a high attention to detailStrong written and verbal communicationProblem solving skillsStrong math skills, proficiency using Microsoft Excel and WordJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:Bay City, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Inventory management: 3 years (Preferred)Cannabis: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
