About the Role:

As Chief of Staff, you will be at the forefront of Spekit’s fast-paced strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and enabling innovation. Your work will impact our strategic priorities and our delivery against our high growth goals. This is a highly strategic and facilitative role that requires a combination of focus and flexibility as well as a willingness to play an active, operational and communicative role. As the CEOs ‘trusted counsel’, the role requires strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation and interpersonal skills.

You will operate as a key component in our Executive team’s effectiveness with contributing on: strategy formation & implementation, key stakeholder management and drive on CEO appointed strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced Chief of Staff bringing a proven track record of both leading executives and operating within cross functional department priorities.

As Chief of Staff you will work closely with our CEO, Melanie Fellay, and the executive team and be responsible for a wide and varied number of tasks and actions that will enable our leadership to drive the business forward effectively and quickly managing the coordination between departments and outside parties.

In this role, you can expect to:

Manage the Spekit executive team in the strategic planning process, including running our strategic planning sessions and broader leadership team communications
Coordinate key initiatives between departments and executive leadership
Lead selected strategic initiatives in parallel, guiding multiple cross-functional teams
Communicate findings to management and drive recommendations through to implementation and results

You have natural leadership skills with an ability to inspire others to achieve a common objective
You have keen business acumen – you govern the strategic planning, understand our strategy, assess how well we are executing to it, offer recommendations for improvement
You have managed simultaneous projects at an executive level impacting the achievement of company objectives
You’ve got exceptional executive management/relationship building expertise
You’re familiar with, and have conducted, strategic planning processes identifying top challenges to prioritize as an output
You’re comfortable with a fast-paced work environment that undergoes many changes
Your written communication is SPEKtacular: concise, persuasive and empathetic
Your verbal communication is SPEKtacular: clear, on-point and confident.
You can execute multiple strategic priorities in parallel while having open conversations about prioritization

Must-haves:

Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Chief of Staff or similar role for a SaaS early stage company
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
Strong executive presence, ability to quickly understand needs of multiple departments
Superior organizational skills and project/time management abilities, with ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
Great interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
Must be able to work legally in the US
