Position : Donut Shop Customer Service Baker Barista
Job Description : Bigwig Donuts, the gluten free and vegan donut hole shop in Downtown Salem, is looking for a kind and awesome customer service professional / baker / barista.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and has experience in a fast paced food environment.
This position is PART TIME for weekends with the possibility of one or two additional week days. A semi-flexible schedule would be great to cover vacation/sick time as well.
Some benefits include: good tips, good hours (between 8am-2pm), free donuts, snacks/food provided for break times, paid time off, and monthly paid time for volunteering in our community!
Our wage starts at $13 and tips are normally between $5-9 an hour.
Responsibilities:Cross-trained on all aspects of daily work (i.e. register, making donuts, prep work, drink making, cleaning)Maintain a tidy work areaAccurately process all cash and card paymentsProvide exceptional customer serviceWork and move with a purpose, and an ability to multitask
Qualifications:Proven experience as a barista and/or working in a fast-paced food environmentCan work weekendsAbility to listen and communicate effectivelyLoves working with a tight-knit group and is kind, dependable, and enthusiastic!

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $12.75 – $20.00/hour.
