As a Workforce Consultant at Job Service you will:
Assist individuals in pursuing employment and training to help them achieve their career goals.
Work with representatives of business and industry to assess needs and collaboratively develop plans and strategies to achieve their goals.
Establish and maintain productive working relationships with businesses, education, economic development, and other community partners in support of workforce development.
Work individually and on teams in developing individualized strategies to ensure those we serve and serve with are fully supported in their efforts.

Qualifications:

We are seeking individuals who care about and are committed to the success of others. Your preparation for this opportunity may include experiences in the areas of client or customer service, educating or training others, sales, public relations, office administration and others which require working effectively with individuals or businesses. This opportunity does not require a degree, but relevant formal education will be counted on a one-to-one basis towards years of relevant education and experience. Minimum qualifications include any of the following: 5 years relevant experience; a relevant 4-year degree and 1 year of relevant experience; or any combination of relevant education and experience totaling 5 or more years.
At the hiring managers discretion, a training assignment may be considered for applicants not meeting minimum qualifications. Training assignments pay less than the base rate for the position until such time as minimum qualifications are met.
