Job Description : JOB SUMMARYThe Laser Utility Technician position is responsible for performing basic maintenance duties related to the install, troubleshoot, repair and to maintain Trumpf Laser equipment and fixtures according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and support of the maintenance departments business goals and objectives.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBasic knowledge and use of voltage meters, reading electrical schematics and measuring tools.Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain Laser production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production Laser machines.Read and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to fixturing for reliability.Perform regular preventive daily maintenance on laser machines and associated equipment.Perform a variety of plumbing, electrical and cleaning of laser fixturing.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.All other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMinimum 1 years of manufacturing experience in automotive industry with emphasis on industrial related equipment.PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITIONSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusFrequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle, manipulate, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk and hearEmployee must occasionally lift or move up to 70 poundsModerate noise levelJob Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Signing bonusEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)Laser Repair: 1 year (Preferred)Running Laser Cell: 1 year (Preferred)CAD programming: 1 year (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Night Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
