Job Description : Job descriptionMergers & Acquisitions Specialist- NuVescor, a leading M&A firm based in West Michigan is seeking to expand our team to meet the growing demand for our services and better serve our clients. We seek a highly self-motivated person to manage all aspects of the relationship with our business buyers and their advisors.Role ObjectiveWork activities may need to change due to modifications within our business model.The Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist will build a marketing plan/process for current projects to find and cultivate buyers in order to deliver multiple purchase proposals, lead negotiations, facilitate buy-side activities throughout the closing process to ensure a successful transaction.Primary ResponsibilitiesReview client materials and develop a project marketing plan and cadence activities to recruit buyers.Manage buyer interactions, communications, reporting, and providing buyers with resources to educate them on our transaction process.Understand the goals and objectives of the buyer, seller, and the bank to facilitate advantageous deal structuring.Maintain CRM buyer records and document buyer interactions for assigned projects.Review Prep tools (valuation, market research, and financing availability research) and assess value versus risk to develop transaction scenarios.Communicate diplomatically, effectively, and proactively with all parties (including bankers, investors, CPAs and attorneys) on a wide variety of topics pertinent to the transaction.Schedule and facilitate showings for clients and potential buyers.Cultivate buyers to deliver multiple purchase proposals.Facilitate answers to buyer questions and assist buyers through proposal development, financing, and closing.Analyze and interpret offers, quantifying them accurately and in a way that clients can make informed decisions with respect to a contemplated transaction.Achieve signed Letter of Intent (LOI) within ninety days of launch.Resolve closing negotiation issues/conflicts standing in the way of successfully signing of LOI, Purchase Agreement (PA) and Closing documents,Education, Experience & Credentials RequiredMinimum of Bachelor’s degree in business-related field with concentration in finance or accounting or equivalent experience.Three to five years of business-to-business sales and/or client relationship management experience.Real Estate Salesperson license required (within 6 months of start date).Experience reviewing business contracts and financial statements.Technology Skills RequiredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint).Ability to learn new CRMComfortable facilitating virtual meetingsCompetencies RequiredExcellent written and oral communication skills, presentation skillsResults-orientedAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentAssessment and facilitation of the decision-making process with the buyer and sellerExcellent relationship management skillsResilience and flexibilityDemonstrated negotiation capability, problem-solving and decision-making skills, including conflict resolutionStrong influencer skillsStrong attention to detailProficient in a project-based work environment with wide variation in both content and time requirementsWillingness to communicate in a highly responsive manner via client’s preferred mediums and time periodsIntellectually curious; enthusiastic learner with an interest in how businesses operate.OtherSome (10%) travel requiredEqual Employment OpportunityRua M&A, LLC (d/b/a’s: Rua Associates and NuVescor Group) is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color national origin, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.Employment TypeFull-timeJob Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 – $200,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingFlexible scheduleHealth savings accountPaid time offProfessional development assistancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:B2B sales: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
